Frequently Asked
Questions
Where do I find the training materials available for sections to
use?
The training
materials are available under the Quick Launch area on the left.
Click on the selected topic for the facilitator materials and links
to webinars (if applicable). To obtain the webinar data files for a
live section presentation, contact Cynthia Nazario at
cnazario@asq.org
for the cd-rom.
How should I use this material to present to my section?
Sections can use the
material to offer pre-meeting tutorials, certification refresher
training, seminars on hot topics, or education about whatever
quality topic might be needed by the local constituency. It is the
Section’s responsibility to make decisions about instructor
selection and compensation, marketing, pricing, and logistics. It
is important to have a subject matter expert at the meeting for any
questions that need to be addressed.
Do
I have to use all the packaged material that comes with the
training?
No. The Evaluation,
Certificate, and Facilitator Guides are suggested tools for the
course. If you choose not to use the Facilitator Guide, make sure
to at least read it so as to get any information pertinent to the
course.
How do I use the presentation format?
The facilitator guide
will provide you with the delivery format. If it is a webinar, the
guide will provide you with the link to the webinar
Can I submit content to ASQ for sections to use?
Yes.
What is the process for submitting content to ASQ?
Send your content
electronically to any of the team members listed on the previous
page. The content will be reviewed for topic-specific
appropriateness. If the topic is one that Member Units have asked
for, it will be reviewed by a subject matter expert. Upon passing
the review, the material will be packaged in a format consistent
with previously packaged materials. |
